Even stillness has motion and what appears solid consists of energy and movement. Seismic Shift, is a series of sculpture made from cast densite and symtex as well as several digital images exploring ongoing motion within a limited space. The sculptures are square wafer-like objects that are impressionistic, land contour microcosms. Layered within each piece is a unique underlying sense of energy, movement and fluidity. The digital images, presented in an exhibition at Deleon White Gallery, are an exploration within the land contours intrinsic to these sculptural objects.
