Technological “progress” has etched a deep signature or scar into the earth’s environment within a relatively short time in the planet’s existence. Over time, however, remnants of technology are eventually overgrown or buried, since the planet, though not immutable, is much more enduring. This concept underlies Timefold and the Future Fossils series.
The materials used in these mixed media pieces include densite, stone, found objects of metal and steel, and some digital imagery collages.
